Privacy Policy

Last updated July 11, 2026

GoldenBerry Studio is the trading name of GoldenBerry Software OÜ, a company registered in Estonia, and the controller of the data described here. This policy explains what data we collect across our sites and apps, why we collect it, and what your rights are. It applies to goldenberry.studio and to our apps, including Pace, PhotoGlide, Misool Divesite Manager, and Cortex, unless an app publishes its own policy that says otherwise.

The short version

We collect the minimum we need to run our products. We don't sell your data. We don't run third-party advertising. When we use AI providers to power features, we send them only what the feature needs.

What we collect

  • Account information. When an app has accounts: your email address, name if you give it, and authentication details.
  • Content you create. What you upload or write in an app (for example photos and captions in PhotoGlide, or bookings and notes in Misool Divesite Manager). It stays yours.
  • Usage data. Basic analytics about how our sites and apps are used, such as pages visited and features triggered, to help us improve them.

How we use it

  • To provide and improve the products you're using.
  • To respond when you contact us.
  • To keep our services secure and prevent abuse.

We never sell personal data, and we never share it with third parties for their marketing.

AI features

Some of our products use third-party AI providers to power features, for example caption generation in PhotoGlide or drafting assistance in Misool Divesite Manager. When you use those features, the relevant content is sent to the provider to generate the result. We don't allow providers to use your content to train their models where that control is available.

Third-party services

We rely on service providers for hosting, storage, email, analytics, and payments. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments. Apps that publish to external platforms (for example PhotoGlide publishing to Instagram) only do so when you connect your account and ask them to.

Where your data lives

Our services run on cloud infrastructure that may store data outside your country. Wherever it lives, it gets the same protections described in this policy, and transfers rely on the safeguards required by the law that applies to you.

Deleting your account and data

We keep your data while you use the product, and you can leave whenever you want. Where an app has accounts, you can delete your account from inside the app's settings. If you can't find it, or you'd rather just ask a human, email hello@goldenberry.so from the address on the account. Either way we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep it longer. Deleting the app from your device does not by itself delete your account.

Children

Our sites and apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is limited to the people who need it, and we don't keep data we don't use. No system is unbreakable, but if a breach ever affects your personal data, we'll tell you what happened and what we're doing about it.

App stores

If you install our apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores also process some data (downloads, purchases, crash reports) under their own privacy policies, which are separate from this one.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@goldenberry.so and we'll sort it out. If you're in the EU or EEA, these are your GDPR rights, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority, though we'd rather you talk to us first.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and note the change in the products affected.
